Maple Candy Bacon Apple Tacos
What you Need:
Maple Candied Bacon
- ¼ cup 100% pure Maple Syrup
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
-1 lb thick cut bacon.
Dressing
- ¼ cup olive oil
-1 TBSP red wine vinegar
-1tsp minced garlic
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
-baby spinach
- ¼ red onion
-1 granny smith apple
- ¼ cup walnuts
- ¼ cup dried cherries
-feta chees crumbles
-softshell taco shells
Tools:
Cookie sheet.
Aluminum Foil
Mixing bowl
Spatula
Knife
Cutting board.
Instructions.
Maple Candied Bacon:
-Preheat oven to 325
-Mix together brown sugar and maple syrup.
-Coat each piece of bacon with mixture and place on a cookie rack over an aluminum foil lined pan.
-Bake for 40-45 minutes. Until crispy.
Dressing
-mix olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper.
-Coat spinach and chopped red onion with dressing.
Taco
-Place 2 pieces of bacon in each taco.
-add dressing coated spinach.
-sprinkle on chopped walnuts, thinly sliced apples, dried cherries, and feta chees crumbles.
