CUB KITCHEN - CAYENNE CANDIED BACON

Cayenne Candied Bacon Tacos with avocado mayo.

 

What you need:

-1 lb thick cut bacon

-½ cup brown sugar

-½ tsp cayenne pepper.

 

Avocado Mayo

-2 avocados

-¼ cup olive oil

-1 lime juiced.

 

-9-Soft taco shells

-Lettuce-chopped

-Sliced provolone cheese.

 

Tools:

-Baking sheet with Cookie rack.

-Aluminum foil

-Whisk.

-Food processor.

 

Instructions.

 

Cayenne Candied Bacon:

-preheat oven to 350 degrees.

-Whisk together brown sugar and cayenne pepper

-coat each piece of bacon with mixture and place on a cookie rack on an aluminum foil lined pan.

-Bake for 20-25 minutes.

 

Avocado Mayo:

-cut, pit and shell avocados

-Juice lime

-add ¼ cup olive oil

-mix in food processor until smooth 

 

Tacos:

Spread avocado mayo on shells, add one slice of provolone cheese to each.

Place 2 pieces of bacon on each taco.

Top with lettuce.

Makes about 9 tacos.
